Control PC music, open favourite apps, and keep an eye on home with Sentry.
Hold to talk on Orbit, ask the AI desk, or send commands to Codex.
Orbit's PC controls, readings and AI need this program running on an awake PC on the same network.
Orbit and this PC must be on the same home Wi‑Fi. Orbit shows the PC's name and a 4‑digit code: check the code matches, then tap YES on Orbit. Pairing again replaces any earlier PC.
Checking…
Takes about two minutes. Keep Orbit on. If anything goes wrong, Orbit keeps its current firmware.
On the other PC, show its link code, paste it here, then click Move. Orbit confirms and reconnects there.
Each theme coordinates backgrounds, panels, text, graphs, meters and controls on Orbit and on this page.
Tap the left half of Orbit's screen to go back and the right half to go forward. AI voice, Light show and Hue lights are always available.
Double-tap the music icon at the top right, or swipe up or down on blank space. Each can open any screen.
Uses Windows media controls for the active player.
Only the shortcuts saved here can be started from Orbit's App launcher.
Orbit receives a small 160 × 90 image over your home network. No video or photos are sent to any AI service.
Alarm quiet
Armed Sentry saves local video clips of movement: a short lead-in, five seconds after movement stops, up to 60 seconds per clip. Clips are never deleted automatically.
Keys are encrypted for your Windows account on this PC. API use is billed by each provider; a chat subscription is not an API key.
On Orbit, open AI and hold the screen to talk. Orbit answers out loud using OpenAI's realtime voice.
An engine shows on Orbit once its key is saved in AI desk (a model is picked for it automatically). Claude, DeepSeek and Cursor also use the OpenAI key above to hear you and speak their answers. Codex turns what you say into a command you check on Orbit before it's sent. Orbit's ENGINE screen changes this too.
This is the same OpenAI key the AI desk uses. It is encrypted for your Windows account and remembered after a restart. Create keys at platform.openai.com/api-keys.
In Orbit's AI page, tap CONSOLE to see your paired Codex chat. Hold the bottom bar to speak a command, check the draft, then tap SEND. Nothing reaches Codex until you tap SEND.
The Codex console tab on this page shows the same conversation and lets you type commands and review requests.
Changes apply to Orbit straight away.
Orbit's LIGHT SHOW page changes the same settings by touch. Whatever you pick there shows up here too.
Checking for Hue…
Checking the Codex connection…
An optional passcode for every Codex command and approval. Orbit's own SEND button cannot enter it, so with a passcode set, send from this page.
Choose folders whose contents may be permanently deleted. The folders themselves stay. System, app and whole top-level personal folders are blocked.
Close the browser first. Cookies sign you out of websites. Sync, backups and cloud copies are not covered.
Deletion on SSDs cannot be guaranteed unrecoverable. Orbit does not claim forensic shredding.
Save changes to apply. Orbit relocks after a minute without touch. PC commands and cleanup also ask for the passcode.
Lock keeps your apps running behind the Windows sign-in screen. Sign out closes your session and must be confirmed on Orbit.
